Defeated storm king 3 times, only received cyclone pickaxe?

As the title says, I've defeafed the storm king 3 times so far and I've only gotten the cyclone pickaxe each time (I now have 3). Isn't there a sword and something else too? When will I get those, is it random? Has this happened to anyone else?
