PC often having handshaking issues with LG G4 and showing “No Signal” connected via AVR

I’m having significant issues with handshaking my PC connected to my Denon 3800h AVR with this TV. Bought the TV about 2 weeks ago. Have no handshaking issues for other devices connected to the AVR (ps5, switch, Xbox, Apple TV) just the PC.

It says “no signal” a lot of the time when going to the pc input from the avr. Seems very random. Or it will often do this when switching refresh rates or resolutions in pc applications like Retroarch or steam games, and instead of switching it displays a no signal message again.

Sometimes it will show the picture fine when switching to PC, other times it will display the no signal message.

Going to the Home hub menu of the TV and clicking into the AVR input from there seems to do a new handshake and it works this way each time when I get the no signal message and will display a picture . but it’s a little annoying having to do that each time I get the message.

Any ideas why this is only happening with the pc connected to the avr with the G4? It didn’t used to happen on my older OLED CX connected the same way with the same AVR. So I know the G4 isn’t handshaking my pc properly as this is the only thing that’s changed.

Would connecting the PC directly to the tv fix this problem? I would still need sound going from the receiver to the pc via eArc, so I should still get sound that way.
