Can i dissolve tabs in ethanol then dose it onto different blotter paper?

I know this is a dumb question but I have unused blotter paper with a super cute design that I'd love to actually be able to use! So could I dissolve the tabs I already have in a small amount of ethanol (or some other solvent) then roughly estimate the concentration of lsd per ml and dose the new paper accordingly? Thanks for any advice :p
