Am I a good candidate?
Hi, I’m a 29-year-old South Asian woman with excessive dark, coarse hair on my face, chest, and abdomen. I’ve had PCOD for the past 15 years, and my hirsutism and other symptoms have worsened over time. I’m really tired of dealing with unwanted body hair, so I’ve decided to try laser hair removal.
Will it work for me?
My laser technician has asked me to come with a decent hair growth for my sessions and said that the less I remove my hair, the better the results will be. But since I have a lot of hair on my face, it’s hard to keep this much growth throughout the treatment.
Is there a way to remove my hair without affecting the treatment? I’ve heard that waxing and tweezing are not recommended, but shaving is fine. Can I shave regularly during the treatment?
