Has any average, “normal” student pulled an A?

1L, feels like I cannot expect to get an A on any final despite my preparation, because it seems that the A’s are destined for the gunners/the natural geniuses in my class.

I’m ok with this. But I’m wondering if any average student like me has unexpectedly or magically pulled an A or A-??
