Driving test in 10 days - any advice ?
Hey Reddit,
I’m taking my driving test in 10 days (22nd January at 3:35 PM), and I could really use some advice, encouragement, or tips from those who’ve been through it. It’s been a long and challenging journey for me to even get to this point, and I feel like passing this test is more than just earning a license – it’s a personal milestone that represents overcoming a lot of hurdles in my life.
I’ve done 22 hours of lessons so far, and I have another 7 days of lessons booked between now and the test (excluding weekends). My main focus right now is improving on areas like roundabouts, signaling, and keeping my speed steady – these are the things I’ve struggled with the most.
To be honest, this isn’t just about driving for me. Life’s thrown a lot of challenges my way over the years, and there have been times when I didn’t think I’d even get to this point. But I’ve kept going, and I’m determined to see this through. Passing this test would mean the world to me – not just for the freedom and independence it brings, but because it’s proof that I can push through and achieve what I set my mind to.
I’d love to hear any tips, tricks, or advice you have for staying calm during the test, avoiding silly mistakes, and handling situations that might come up on the road. I’d also really appreciate hearing your personal stories if you’ve been in a similar position.
Thanks so much for reading this and for any help you can offer – it truly means a lot. I’ll be putting everything I have into these next 10 days, and I hope I can come back here with good news!
Wish me luck!
