Made a mistake learned an interesting trick to save my bag.

So long story short I was sent the wrong thickness of leather didn't check it like I should have. So I have everything laser cut out, dyed, little pieces all put together to get started on assembly it was going okay until it was time to do the gusset. I could not get it to bend like it was suppose to nothing. I thought " well, this was a failure" I was tired and out of ideas.

I called my laser guy and he had a solution I had never heard of steaming and molding the leather. I went over to his place and tried it out he brought out a mini sauna streamer for his sauna. It works great I got this hard as a rock veg tan to bend. I was able to sew it up there while he worked and I got the bag done. It did change the color of the dyed red pieces and turn it into a hard rock but it is done. And my friend loves her new bag.
