Company installed an internal sliding door that's been broken for longer than it's been working - is small claims court the best option?

Hi,

I had an internal sliding glass door fitted earlier this year. In August it stopped working and is now stuck in a half open / half shut position. I've attempted to contact the firm on many occasions - the phone is never answered and emails are routinely ignored.

The only contact I've had is when I put a Google review online; they agreed to come last week to fix it but didn't turn up. All I'm looking for is for them to fix the issues but don't feel like I have any options here.

I paid via bank transfer so I don't think I have any recourse there, so what are my options? Do I put in a claim at small claims court for the full amount of the doors (~£6k)?

Thanks
