[COI 1176] Earth was not left unscathed

Before anything else I'm also grandly disappointed in the developments. I think that's a feeling spread across the subreddit.

However I must say that Earth is fucked over in the long term and they did not come out easy. In the case that MGOD comes for a rematch Earth is quite literally done for. We have MGOD a pillar, a healed MTOD, COI has gone looking for MoD so in the next rematch after this he might come as a quasi pillar with the abilities of Second law, a healed IR and GoF, High Dimensional overseer, Primordial Hunger and SD(I'm assuming he bolts immediately after being released and leaves). So that's a pillars Quasi pillar and five Great Old Ones.

On Earth's side we have one Pillar, whatever tf Lumian is currently (although in hindsight his state is being controlled by COI so in a fight COI can just leverage this to temporarily take out Lumian), Evernight, possibly a DOK and KOL. NoD is experiencing problems and from Mirror Roselle might take centuries to recover so as to be accommodated. Add on the fact Genie's deal is still on with Klein and with his body in space and his sister there she can just use him to counter NoD if it ever gets it's problems solved. A GA is highly unlikely with how big of a dick GA is currently and no one in the position to start accomodating after Adam dies or incapacitated. Best case scenario we have a Half GOO Adam again. So that's One pillar, Lumian and three GOOs possibly four.

With this in mind saying Earth was unscathed is absolutely ludicrous. The ODs have gained the upperhand for the next Showdown and only plot armor can help them. In a realistic scenario without it they're doomed
