Lyfts getting… stinkier?
Title pretty much says it all. Over the past year the chance of the rides I've ordered being in a smelly car, are increasing steadily. Sometimes it smells like the car... most the time it's aggressive body odor. I've found the only times I'm guaranteed to get a clean smelling ride is if I book Lyft comfort. It's usually between a $2 and $10 increase in price for a comfort ride. So I save booking those for when I know I need to show up at my destination still smelling nice, and I'll book a standard ride when I'm just going home. I've started giving three stars for smelly rides and I don't feel great about it, especially when the smell is the only problem I had with the ride. But I just can't keep 5 starring people who don't care about hygiene. Anyone else experiencing this problem? How do you handle it? Should I rate even lower? I swear 2-3 years ago the odds of a stinky ride were incredibly low. I'm in Richmond, Virginia, if that helps.
