Claritin causing depression, what about clarinex?

Hi!

My main antihistamine has always been Allegra, but I had to pick a different one for awhile because my tolerance to it got very high after a year and a half. Zyrtec knocks me out and causes depression. I tried claritin for a good month or two. I noticed depression slowly creeping up over the weeks and got severe very quickly the past week.

I switched back to Allegra the past 2 days, woke up today and the depression and 80% of the brain fog/dissociation was completely gone. So I guess it was the claritin. Has anyone else had mental health side effects with claritin and tried clarinex? If so, did you notice the side effects with clarinex too?

Thanks in advance for any help! I need something to switch between every so often at the very least, so my tolerance doesn't skyrocket.
