Reddit seems to be split on whether this character is still alive.

Joe freaking Barbaro. I watched the cut scene quite a few times, at the beginning they hide his face as Leo gets out of the car. At the end of the cut scene, the face of the character is revealed as he looks at Lincoln before getting in the car. This does not confirm anything, however it is safe to assume this character has to be of some significance.

In my opinion, this is indeed Joe, otherwise what’s the point of focusing on the face of a random driver? Would love to know everyone’s thoughts, perhaps any confirmation from the developers I missed?
