What are some crazy price increases you’ve noticed lately for makeup?

I get it. Everything is expensive these days. But I went to buy my usual Nars Lipstick in Dolce Vita, only to find I can no longer get that shade in the lipstick, only in the Afterglow Sensual Shine Lipstick which seems to have replaced it. I didn’t look at the price and went to pay for the lipstick and was shocked that it was $44 Canadian for 1.5g or 0.05oz . The regular lipstick is $35 for 3.5g or 0.12 oz. And I feel like it is the same product. I seriously feel duped. For anyone into math, the $44 lipstick works out to $29.33 a gram or $13,317 per pound. The regular lipstick works out to a far more reasonable $4,540 per pound.
