Why is prime video ignoring good malayalam movies

What's up with Amazon prime video and their shitty selection of malyalam movies that we never heard of. Earlier they used to select great malayalam movies. Now all the movies releasing in prime are terrible. Thinking of cancelling the subscription.

Does anybody know what happened in the background. Looks like they got cheated by the producers in the past and not taking any risk now, just updating the library with low budget movies.
