19 GUYS MASS EMAIL KRO

I am writing to bring to your attention several significant errors I encountered during the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) held on 19th May 2024. These errors have potentially impacted my performance and the performance of many other candidates. The specific issues are as follows:

  1. Solid State Question in Chemistry: There was a question from the solid state chapter, which is not included in the prescribed syllabus. This is unfair to all students who took the test on this date.
  2. Incorrect Options in Chemistry: A question regarding the comparison of stability by bond orders of 𝑁2+N2+, 𝑁2−N2−, and 𝑁2N2 had incorrect options, making it impossible to answer correctly.
  3. Physics Question with Multiple Correct Answers: A question about a closed vessel half-filled with water and air being pumped out had two correct answers, causing confusion among the students.

Given the importance of each mark in this highly competitive exam, these errors have caused undue disadvantage to those of us who took the test on this date. Therefore, I kindly request a review of these issues and an appropriate resolution. Specifically, we should be awarded 12 grace marks to compensate for the affected questions.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your prompt response.

Thank you.
