Finding local art

I’m looking for a bigger piece for my home office and I’d love to buy something from a local artist. Ideally in the 500-1000 range but willing to go higher. Something bright and colorful and energizing! Any suggestions on where to look? Keep finding art that feels a bit more traditional - or something I’d find in my moms home :)
