Most active 2d mario platformer right now

Lately on youtube I've been getting a lot of shorts of people playing a 2d mario platformer and it's been so satisfying to watch. Now I want to start playing those games again but I have no clue which games are still being played and have a lot of levels and which games are not really actively played anymore. Does anyone know what the platformers are that people still play and are good?
