What would happened if Grievous Surrendered on Utapau?

Saw a post from a few hours ago asking if Kenobi would spare Grievous, but now I ask, what would happen if he did? How do you think things would have went down? Would the droids have tried to rescue him while he is taken back to the clones? Would the armies have surrendered too? Would the clones kill him right then and there when order 66 came through? Or do you think he would have been brought back to Coruscant for an imperial trial for the CIS as their current leader?
