Androgel strength & dose?

Is anyone using androgel? I asked my provider for this and she agreed to call it in for me. She doesn't prescribe it often and I think has called in a potency/strength that isn't common, so we're having trouble finding a pharmacy that stocks it.

My research has led me to believe that the actual drug is the same strength as the one men use, but we would just use much less of it, and maybe less frequently. Eg. 1/2 pump every other day, or something like that.

If you're taking androgel, What strength does it say on the bottle and how were your doses written? Guidance much appreciated!
