Banned from r/SebDerm for suggesting changing diet (gut health)

Hi :) First post here.

Came here because I was just banned (without any warning etc) from r/SebDerm (a type of skin disorder that causes dandruff, rash, flaking on the face/scalp) for suggesting they should look into gut health.

r/SebDerm was actually what led me to "gut health"/"microbiome" . Someone discovered that taking strong anti-biotics had caused their SD, and they were able to cure it by changing diet and doing probiotic therapy. (This exact process has 99% cured my SD)

Was I out of line? Because personally I believe a lot of these creams are useless and not going to cure the underlying issues (I spent years using "creams" and meds that did barely did anything).

This was the original post (which even has upvotes)

Thanks for listening, r/Microbiome :)
