Counterfeit M18 Batteries - High Output XC8.0
Hello yalls!
Before I start, yes I know batteries and eBay are a joke. I bought these full well knowing they are 99.9% knockoff batteries. I have looked at many threads in this subreddit and seen the posts about the signs of fakes: The RED not being aligned, check. Rubber feeling stiffer than normal, check. No diagnostic mode, check. Screws not being security torx, these are. Battery bar lighting all at once, these light up sequentially. I figured the serial numbers would be the same exact mass produced but they are different, 0699820 and the other is 0700992.
Anyone have pictures of a real 8.0 to compare against? These counterfeits are getting good and they keep adding "features" that make them seem more legit. If anyone wants more detailed pics of anything let me know. .Will be starting a return for them regardless but wondering if anyone has any more signs?
