Regional question for dlc

Hi, long story short i have a german psn account i had a friend buy the dlc for me on as it let him buy it where he lives. And on my ps5 even though the german account is set as primary i am unable to access the adventure pass, not sure if this is because i have a us disk or something? Any advice/ help is appreciated.

Worth noting when im on the german account it doesn’t let me download even episodes 1-5 (all episodes show as “coming soon”) but once i download them from my us psn account it shows up on the german account.
