just some thoughts after the loss against memphis
After settling down my mood, i think it's finally time to post this. I avoided social media yesterday whole day l, because I know what kind of post would pop up. I've always told myself that i shouldn't take being a fan too serious, but I just need a place to let go the intricate thoughts in my mind, i don't have too much to say, but here's my vent.
After last game, i came to a conclusion that There's nothing that's definite, 100 percent predictable in life, this is even more accurate basketball wise. The better team will not always beat the worse team. In fact, in my opinion, this league is so competitive that the gap between teams and players is much closer than people think.
The most crucial thing comes down to the players' effort level, rhythm and groove in the actual game. Standings and stats are just a number. Some days, a player averages 3 points might score 30, a consistent 25 points scorer may just can't find his rhythm again. When you send a double team on the averaging 3 points shooter, when he's hot, he can make a fadeaway three. The 25 points scorer can easily miss a wide open three once he's not in the flow of the game.
This is exactly what happened against Memphis. They played hard, play aggressively, made tough shots. Statistically, none of their players is as good as ours, but we just can't find the rhythm, and the game ended up being a 1 on 5, with Giannis carrying us on both ends. No wonder we lost.
congrats to dame on winning b2b three point contest!
