I accidentally zapped my monitor and am wondering if I will have any problems in the future?

Was just chilling in bed and got up to move my monitor over on its arm and when I touched the side of the monitor I zapped it with static electricity and part of the display on that side of the screen went black for a second.

Im just wondering if this is damaging at all to the display.

The monitor I have is the Alienware-AW3225QF if that makes a difference.
