Pain and suffering
Wilds looks fantastic! I’m really happy with how it’s turning out and carving out an identity aside from just being "world but prettier". Paintballs, some of the wilder moves for the weapons, easier tracking, just great. Seeing every weapon have these fun new changes is just so exciting!
But then I remember my beloved bugstick…Why Capcom, why? I really like IG in 4U so messing with aerial play isn’t that big of a deal in itself but seeing it loose a big part of the weapon’s identity in fifth gen just hurts. Losing the old infinite and needing three extracts are the real killer blows here though…Change is great AND welcome but I feel like straight up removing something just isn’t the way to go about it. Especially when in return we just seem to get a follow up for descending slash and universal mechanics. So many weapons seem to get so much more fun tools to play around without having to lose a major part of the kit. It’s still in development so hopefully we’ll see some other stuff they’ve got cooking for IG for now just feels bad man…(still gonna main it though)
