Too many new leaves? 😅

I think my monstera is putting out too many new leaves. They are all small and with no holes; I’d rather it be developing it’s existing leaves! Should I encourage this? Prune them? (I did a pretty big chop on two plants in September and repotted them together; I have no idea how to manage the shape of this thing.)
