Steam big picture mode not working with Apollo

So I tried to use Apollo to make use the of the automatic virtual monitor. I set moonlight up on my Steamdeck as well as on my XBOX, but whenever I try to open Steam with it, I get my desktop, then the stream stops and big picture mode opens on my normal monitor.

I already set the virtual monitor as my main monitor. Anyone got a fix for this? I don‘t have any errors in my log, screaming the desktop seems to work.
