Vero Forza Drift Pro Review: A Premium Mouse Pad With a Few Surprises (And Customer Service Issues)

I recently ordered the Vero Forza Drift Pro Speed Variant gaming mouse pad, and I wanted to share my experience with it. After considering alternatives like the Aqua Control 2 and LGG Saturn, I decided to give this Indian brand a shot, and here’s my honest review:

The Good:

  1. Premium Quality: The mouse pad feels incredibly premium out of the box. The surface texture is smooth, making it perfect for quick and precise movements. It's definitely a step up from cheaper alternatives.
  2. Stitching: The stitching is well-done and adds to the overall durability of the pad. However, it's worth mentioning that the stitching is raised above the surface, which may cause issues during intense sessions in the long run.
  3. Packaging: Kudos to Vero for the premium packaging. It came in a flat box, so there was no waiting around for the pad to flatten out, which I really appreciated.
  4. Base Grip: The mouse pad’s base holds really well on the desk, ensuring no slipping or shifting during intense gaming.

The Not-So-Good:

  1. Mouse Compatibility Issues: Here’s where things got a bit frustrating. I own the VXE Mad R 8K Polling Rate (max 2mm LOD) mouse and the Razer Basilisk V3, but the pad didn’t work well with either of them. It only seemed to work with my Logitech G402.
  2. Customer Service: I reached out to their customer support with video evidence showing the issue, and even suggested a virtual meet to demonstrate the problem live. Unfortunately, they didn’t agree to this, and I had to send the mouse pad back for testing. When they received it, they claimed it worked with all their test mouses (mainly Logitech), which felt like they were questioning the validity of my claim. After a lot of back-and-forth, they agreed to refund my money but deducted the logistics cost, which felt a bit unfair to me, especially since the product didn’t live up to expectations.

Conclusion:

Overall, while the Vero Forza Drift Pro Speed variant offers premium build quality and an excellent surface, the compatibility issue with specific mouse sensors (like my VXE Mad R) was a deal-breaker for me. It’s a solid product if you’re using compatible mice, but I feel that Vero should have mentioned compatibility limitations on their website for clarity.

I made a detailed review video with proof on my YouTube channel (@GhaseetaBhaiya) where I dive deeper into my experience and show the issues firsthand. Check it out if you’re considering this mouse pad.

TL;DR: The Vero Forza Drift Pro Speed variant is a premium product with excellent build quality and smooth texture, but the compatibility issues with specific mouse sensors and the customer service experience left me frustrated.
