Difficulty of DMV written test ??

Anyone take the written test recently? I go later this week to update my out of state DL and from what I have read, this written test is no joke.

I started to study / read the handbook last night (online). I sorta skimmed thru some parts and then took a practice test. NOPE!!! NO NO NO NO. Got a 69% and the practice test said I need an 83% to pass. Gonna continue to read and take the practice tests of course. Yeah, I learned my lesson.

Just wondering how difficult this test really is. Are there really 45 questions on the test?
