What Mushroom Is This

I’m posting this again with clearer pictures now that I looked over the rules a bit, sorry! My brother was walking through a forrest in the new england area (i’m clarifying bc the pictures to have a clear environment in the background, sorry) and he found this mushroom. I’m not exactly sure about what it is and I want to make sure it’s safe! thank you!
