What are the best songs that came from 2012?

I’m doing a research project centered around music from the 21st century and I was assigned 2012. A song like Rolling in the Deep from Adele is amazing and won the Grammy for Record of the Year in 2012 but, but apparently my objective is to find the best music released in 2012 (Rolling in the Deep was released toward the end of 2010).

What say the Music sub for best songs from 2012, and if you could explain your reasoning in any capacity, you’d be helping a lot.
