Your Break-Up / Sad Songs

Hey All,

Tough time in life. Gonna be fine, but today sucks. Tomorrow’s gonna suck. Probably the next couple months will suck, but music always helps, so here I am.

Song doesn’t inherently have to be about breakups, but that’s the most obvious category.

Anything that gets you in the feels and allows you to express yourself emotionally where you otherwise might not is something I’d like to hear

Only categories I’m not really interested in - rap, metal, country.

Beyond that, hit me. Stuff that discusses (poorly) coping, being sad, breaking up, memory for the good times, all that shit.

So far, got stuff like Yesterday, Help! (Beatles) dosed (red hot chilis), strange (Celeste), landslide & dreams (Fleetwood Mac), cardigan (Taylor swift), drugs don’t work (the Verve), sparks, yellow, and the scientist (Coldplay), amber (311), and so on. Not all might make sense in the context of the breakup, but those are just some examples of songs that get me in the feels. Whatever does the same for you, please share. If you wanna explain why the song resonates with you, that’d be awesome. Love hearing backgrounds on the music that you find meaningful.
