Why didn’t Midoriya just join the Support Course? Then he could’ve used the 8 years to make his OWN suit
This makes so much more sense.
Deku is a talented intellect, not the most prodigious in class 1-A but he’s shown to be an extremely hard and consistent worker- one that uses his intelligence to find creative solutions to his problem.
Especially with his previous interactions/relationship with the support course at UA, I’m shocked that he didn’t switch in and wasn’t welcomed to develop his his knowledge of tech. In fact, I would’ve thought he would’ve recieved an invitation to the support course once it was found out he was quirkless
I mean, cmon, he makes a hobby out of note taking on quirks. The exact thing that would be helpful when you’re engineering tech meant to SUPPORT someone’s quirk.
Even in the last chapter, he analyzes a kids quirk to see if he could help him/advise him. You’re telling me he didn’t just wanna make THAT his career? Supporting heroes? Cmon
He even has a unique perspective as a hero who has used and was previously reliant on many support course innovations, he could provide insight into how it really feels to use their products and new considerations they could/should make.
Now imagine this, Deku switches courses and joins the support course. He may not have a quirk, but is still very close with all the friends he made in the Hero course. Especially now that he is helping to make their support items, he can maintain close contact with his friends and support them as heroes. He could work especially close with Bakugou considering Bakugou injuries, maybe making special items to support him on his recovery while he learns to adjust.
Now time skip 8 years, Deku has just finished a new innovation, inspired by All Might. Even without a quirk, Deku was told he could still be a hero and All might proved that to him during the war, when he brandished his iron man suit like support item to battle alongside the heroes.
Show some random disaster in the city, one that requires a pro hero and Bakugo responds. Bakugo rushes in and once again ended up at the whim of same dangerous villain.
Deku, testing his suit out in the field for the first time, bursts onto the field and saves Bakugo, coming full circle. Bakugo instead of feeling angered by being saved by his quirkless friend like in the beginning of the series, is instead shocked and happy to see Deku fighting villains once again. They turn and fight the villain together. End series.
Obviously my idea/execution is corny but I think the concept is way better than what they went with in the end.
