Was this game really that bad for Darnold's future?

I recognize that this is a speculative question, but from what I'm seeing online, people seem to think this is pretty much the end of Sam Darnold's hopes as a competent QB. I realize he had a very bad game on a large stage, but is it really as bad as people are saying? I feel like almost every good player has had bad games?
