This gameplay is worse than it’s ever been.

I recommend watching Sopuli’s video if you disagree with me but this year is one of the worst years of gameplay I’ve ever played. I play D2 rivals and finish around top 500 in hut champs but this game is still unpleasant to play no matter if I win or lose. Every game is a battle of who can get the most d to d 1ts and spam l2 backskating. Line changes are the worst they’ve ever been in this series and they somehow still haven’t fixed them. I love changing my lines and somehow my 4th line winger is centering my 1st line wingers. It blows my mind they haven’t fixed it yet but it’s Ea so I shouldn’t be that surprised I guess. Passing is also horrendous. I’ll be trying to pass to my forward on a 3 on 2 and he just keeps his stick in the air and lets it go past him. Ea said the ai would be improved before the game came out but it’s somehow worse than ever. Goals make no sense. You can have a perfect backdoor pass and the goalie decides to be prime Hasek robbing me multiple times, then somehow I bring the game to ot and score from the boards with an offhand one t. On defense my defenseman pinch at the worst time possible while I have pinching set to zero. I give up so many 2-1s no matter what my strategies are set too and trying to play a passive forecheck. There’s probably more issues to this dogshit game but that’s all that I could think. I’d like someone to tell me how this game isn’t one of the worst games plays for hut ever.
