TOTYs from Fantasy

The way I see it, PWHL Keller and Ambrose are the best bets for PWHL defense(wo)men. Has there ever been a case in earlier TOTY iterations where a fantasy card trade-in was involved? A Keller trade-in would be an initial OA stats downgrade (ability upgrade I guess) after her goal tonight, so I'm curious on how they might integrate that.
