Why are many American players leaving NWSL for Europe?

There are already a few Americans in Europe. Now, Girma and Nighswonger left, Coffey is about to leave. Just why? NWSL is clearly the best league in the world, no question about it. The pay is amazing there, the new CBA gives players so much rights, USA as a country is the best country to live in, the stadiums are great and most teams can fill up the seats, and every single team in NWSL is competitive. There are no weak teams there and any team can win the championship! Unlike WSL in England.

Most importantly, people CARE about women's soccer in USA. It doesn't get the same respect in Europe. And you get PAID in USA with the best staff looking after you.

I get names like Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal are big names in men's soccer. But in women's soccer? It doesn't have anywhere near the same prestige. Most women's soccer players don't care about men's soccer, so why would a name like Arsenal be more attractive than living in a gorgeous city like New York and playing for a top team like Gotham?

None of the WSL teams have their own stadium. They play in like training fields of men's teams and barely anyone attends games most of the time. Compare that to beautiful stadiums in NWSL with packed seats. I just don't get why players would want to leave NWSL for Europe. I don't see top basketball players leaving WNBA or NBA for Europe.

USA is the best country for women's soccer. USWNT and NWSL have proven it. I'd rather live in Houston and play for the Dash than going over to Europe for Chelsea or Arsenal. What do you guys think? Am I crazy for thinking USA is by far the best spot for women's soccer players?
