Unpopular opinion? : Naruto Shippuden > OG naruto and its not even close
I didn't realise this was an unpopular opinion until I saw people discussing naruto on the Internet. In my opinion, og is great at what it does. Setting up the major themes and the character defining moments for our main characters in shippuden. It is enjoyable. However, shippuden, for me, is what elevates naruto. The bulk of the world building is done in shippuden, we really learn about how the the world was shaped, the character development and interactions are wonderful. The fights are so much better. Kishimotos art just got better and better over time. Then we finally saw the culmination of naruto, sasuke and sakuras growth by the end. It was really great to see and very well written. It's really hard for me to see what og does better than shippuden. The only fumble shippuden had was the questionable pacing at the beginning of the war arc. Og had better pacing throughout, however, its not a big detractor in shippuden.
