New nepenthes plant

Hello nepenthes community, I was wondering if I should feed the tiny little pitchers on my plant. I think I could arrange for an ant to crawl in one of the pitchers. I’m just not sure if I should because 1: the plant is acclimating to my socal zone 10 weather, and 2: I’m not sure what age nepenthes can eat at and if it’s dangerous to feed tiny plants.
