Best place in Newcastle for meet-cutes/romantic liaisons?

I'm utterly bored of being single and my current strategy of hanging out in lady greys or cosy Joe's til the early hours and talking to men I 100% know will ruin my life isn't quite working out (I know, its a mystery to me too).

Where do people meet people?

And please don't tell me to go do hobbies in groups with people, I know fine well this is the answer (and is what I tell other people) but I refuse point blank to take my own advice.
