Tight Shaft on new Overlanders.

Howdy folks. I have a question for you Nicks owners. I got my new Overlanders in the mail today, and man oh man do I love these boots already. Until you get them in your hands you really have no idea what these boots are. The question I have is in regards to getting them on... I have clown sized feet that are wide as hell. More like canoes than feet. getting my foot down the shaft of the boot and seated properly is a bit comical to see because it is difficult. especially with my man sized calves that are cartoonishly large from walking biking and being on my feet all day.

Does anyone have tips for getting the boots on without having to hop around pulling on the boot for a couple of minutes to get my clown foot in the boot?
