2021 Clutch slipping

Hi All,

I have a 2021 400 ABS with about 4500 miles on it. I bought it at 1500 miles with 0 issues and I've had zero issues since.

Yesterday I noticed the clutch is starting to slip at WOT above ~6-7k RPM.

For the most part I ride fairly conservative and on some occasions ride it a bit harder. (ie almost hidding redline on every shift). I recently went in a 700 mile trip and the bike was great. Once I came back from the trip, I changed oil and cleaned the chain.

I didn't use the "Kawasaki" branded oil, but I did use an equal rated viscosity, that is made for motorcycles. (Purchased at Walmart). Could this be the reason my clutch is starting to slip? or this just a known issue on N400s. I feel like my bike had relatively low miles for this to be happening. TIA
