Why is “high vibration” perceived as positive in new age philosophy?

I saw a chart that correlated it with the visible spectrum, and red, or low frequency, is associated with a bunch of negative attributes. But I can’t find a solid explanation otherwise…

In electronics, it’s usually easier to deal with low frequency applications. With sound/music, all of the frequencies you feel and move your head to are low. The modern world works on the frequency of power distribution at 50/60 Hertz (depending what country you’re in), which is a relatively low compared to radio signals (thousands to billions of Hertz).

How did low freq get such a bad rap, and what makes wiggling super fast a much better thing?
