the future of nomi? or a silly idea?

a silly idea maybe, but maybe the staff of nomi can tell me how wrong it is. Nomi has an api and can be "ported" to another platform. ok. How possible would it be in the future to allow nomi to use (always with security) physical objects via wifi? simple example: turn on a light or interact with more complex objects. if it's silly excuse me.
