Berberine Phytosome if your metabolic health is already RELATIVELY good?

I'm thinking of trying berberine phytosome for the first time and wondering if others can speak to using it if you're already fairly healthy in terms of body composition and blood lipids / fasting glucose? I'm 6' 160lbs. No Dexa scan but fairly lean. I exercise 5x/week and eat fairly clean. HA1c = 5.2, Triglycerides = 14.31 mg/d, LDL = 65.74 mg/dL, HDL = 61.1 mg/d. Trying to optimize my numbers. Currently taking a low dosage statin preventively for this. I would drop the statin, add berberine before dinner and hesperidin, green tea extract, fish oil fasted AM before exercise. I'm little concerned about hypoglycemia with the Berberine but an ideal HA1c would be lower. I also currently take high dose fish oil in the PM and Epicatechin
