Can putting yourself in uncomfortable situations be a compulsion?
I’m aware that embracing the anxiety, uncertainty, and etc are steps to recovery.
One thing about is me that I tend to put myself in uncomfortable situations on purpose(example; going to huge crowds, using a public washroom)
I do it COMPULSIVELY as well, even if I don’t need to go there, I still do it. It’s kind of like to reassure myself that it’s not a threat, but I’ve done it so many times I’d consider it as a compulsion.
