I’m a parent with a question!
My nine month old twin daughters have an OT evaluation today. Their pediatrician had some concerns with my answers at the nine month well child visit. I was reading through the documentation last night for the OT place, and it says that I won’t be allowed in the room with them due to HIPAA during the eval. I had emailed prior to reading the documents, asking to be in the room with them since they’re only nine months old, and my question was kind of skirted around.
This feels like a red flag to me. They’re 9 months old, by gosh!! They can’t tell me if something happens. Is this truly standard practice?
Thank you!
