Oculus Quest Virtual Desktop Stuttering all of a sudden

I have been using virtual desktop with my oculus quest since December 2019 and it is an absolutely essential feature to me. Every time there’s an update, I install through sidequest and on oculus itself. Recently I have been playing Star Wars squadrons and it’s been great.

However all of a sudden with this most recent update to virtual desktop, steamVR causes my view to jerk everywhere violently while my headset is still. This intense erratic movement makes it quite literally impossible for me change any settings through the headset as it is quite nausea inducing. Same issue in every steamVR game I own. My PC has never had any issues with my vr games and lighting is exactly how I’ve always had it. I noticed steamVR is loading a bit slower too. I maintain a 5ghz ethernet connection at all times. Is there any way this could be an issue with a recent virtual desktop update? I’d prefer not to use oculus link, as I have never found it nearly as good as VD. I’m willing to try anything to fix, 60% of my oculus quest usage comes from SteamVR.
