Gen Z Gamers doyou guys prefer singleplayer/story games more than online nowadays?

I saw an article a week ago about gamers prefering singleplayer games than online multiplayer and as someone who grew up with tons of multiplayer online games like cod halo tf2 growing up and basically everything to do with multiplayer is my favourite but I realized as I grow older and with responsibilities work and adulting things and not to mention every multiplayer game is just a sweatfest right now even the most casual modes can literally be turned into some esports tournament the last thing I wanna experience after a long day at work is being shouted at some 12 year old and I switched back to singleplayer games last year and never looked back is anyone like me too only play singleplayer games nowadays?
