Open a single section in the desktop app

Hello, my team uses OneNote for documentation, we have a master notebook were it's sectioned per function and I need to use everyday, the notebook is in sharepoint and very large, as a result it crashes my computer every time. IT is of no help and is redirecting me to use the web app as this works fine for the large notebook. I can't stress enough how much I HATE the web app, 1 week in and I am about to lose my mind. Is there a way to only open a section of the notebook on my desktop without loading the entire thing?
